ABC Stay Home with Me is an alphabet book designed to be fun for parents to read with young children while being relevant to the current global pandemic. The book was featured on CBC, Applied Arts, and The Message.
Each spread was illustrated by a Canadian illustrator who generously donated their time and skills, and all proceeds go to The Home Front, a Toronto-based organization dedicated to helping frontline workers in the fight against COVID-19.
My role: concept development, writing, art curation, art direction & layout
I wanted to create something that spoke to this unique experience with a focus on design and quality. Yes, it’s a book to read with children, but I wanted adults to enjoy it on another level.
This book was created was a collaboration with Zoe Share of Schmooz Media, with printing for the first 1,000 copies generously donated by Mimic and TLAC.
The illustrators featured here are Jamie Bennett, Yu Shin Wang, and Fatima Almuhtaram.
